Stream ‘Clyde’s’ on on Thursday (7/20)

Broadway show “Clyde’s” will be livestreamed on this Thursday. The musical, directed by Doug Hughes and starring J.T. Watson as Clyde Barrow, features an original score by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Cy Coleman, Tony-winning composer of “Cats”, “Carousel” and “South Pacific”. The live broadcast begins at 6pm ET/3pm PT and will also feature the introduction of “Clyde’s” cast members including Emile Hirsch, Nikki M. James, Nick Berardini, Sherrill Milnes, Louis Cancelmi, George Villas, and Lauren Zalaznick.

“Clyde’s” explores Clyde’s life and legend as a criminal mastermind who was at the helm of the biggest gambling and cocaine crime ring in U.S. history. The webcast, in partnership with, will explore Barrow’s influence on the pop culture and the music of the 1950s and ’60s.

Broadway Play’s series will be broadcast in more than 3,000 theaters across the country, including the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, the Galen Center in Austin, the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco, the Des Moines Performing Arts Center, the Hollywood Pantages Theater, the Spoleto Festival of the Arts in Charleston, S.C., the Loew’s Grande Theatre in Cleveland, the Palace Theatre in Salt Lake City, the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, the Siloam Springs Civic Auditorium in Siloam Springs, and the Belcourt Theatre in Fort Smith, Ark. The webcast series is presented in partnership with the New York Metropolitan Opera, Juilliard School, and the Old Globe Theatre. The first in the series, “New Yorkers Revisited”, was shown in 150 theaters last spring.
