After Kanye West has already done the Christmas card photo shoot and gifted all of his friends and family Christmas gifts, he wants to thank everyone personally. And he reportedly wants to do it in a way that nobody in his inner circle (and many of his friends) will mind. This means wrapping presents for his wife, Kim Kardashian.
According to People, Kim was seeing that Kanye had scheduled a meeting with former Spotify chief of staff Ammar Awad that night at 3 a.m. So Kim quickly texted him to let him know, and then told Kanye’s lawyers about it. “Kanye has been very tight-lipped about the past month and a half, mostly because his wife has asked him to,” a source told People. “He doesn’t want to send anyone a gift and make it seem like she’s going to say no.”
According to the source, Kanye requested that his wife run right back to him to get his gifts ready for Christmas. He eventually agreed, but wasn’t able to do so before the early hours of Christmas morning. As the source told People, “Kim was grateful that Kanye was so excited and apologized for being so late. It was the last thing he wanted to do, and Kim had to say yes for him.”
The latest addition to Kanye’s holiday gift batch is something that fans are going to want to gawk at — and his family is freaking out. According to the source, “Kanye’s family can’t wait to see what kind of ‘surprise’ he has in store.”
